CBD Concentrates
1 product
While not quite as popular as CBD Oil, CBD Capsules, or Pills, CBD concentrates are still very popular for users who are looking for the absolute best bang for their buck. One of the primary benefits of CBD concentrates is that you are typically getting the maximum amount of CBD for your money, as there is minimal production and packaging costs built into the price for CBD concentrates.
CBD Concentrates are great for people who like to create their own CBD recipes - whether those are CBD baked goods, CBD topicals, or CBD drinks. One of our reviewers has even said that they love adding CBD concentrate to their favorite brand name face cream - since she already knows and trusts the product, she just wanted to add some of the benefits of CBD. We recommend cooking with CBD isolate as an additive in your favorite creations!
How strong are CBD Concentrates?
CBD concentrates vary in strength depending on the form of the concentrate. For instance, CBD Shatter is very similar to CBD isolate powder in terms of strength, while some waxes and resins will contain more or less CBD. Concentrates will always, however, be stronger by volume than other forms of CBD (such as CBD Oil or CBD capsules) because of the lack of suspension fluids or other flavors and additives. That’s why they call them CBD concentrates, after all!
What is CBD Shatter?
CBD shatter (and CBD wax) is essentially just crystallized CBD extract, similar to CBD isolate, that has been stored without heat or movement and left alone to cool and crystallize. Some people think that CBD shatter is good for cooking o, but those uses are best left to powdered isolates or oils. CBD shatter is best used by dabbing - using a heated device or pin to heat a small amount of the shatter then inhaling the vapors. Make sure you buy a dabbing device specifically designed for shatter and we recommend doing additional research before dabbing CBD.
What is CBD Resin?
CBD Resin is a more expensive, higher quality concentrate that’s made through cryogenically freezing the fresh hemp, as opposed to drying it, and extracting the concentrate.
What is CBD Isolate?
CBD Isolate is probably the most common and accessible of the CBD concentrates, being extracted from raw hemp before undergoing a process in which the raw CBD is made into a powder. CBD Isolate is great to use in drinks, cooking, or in making your own personal care items.
