Like many other cannabis derived substances, CBD vape pens are a very popular option for people looking to get their CBD dose as they see fit. Due to the portable nature of vaporizers and their relative discreteness compared to traditional smoke, vaporizers make a great addition to your purse, wallet, backpack or even the pocket of your jeans. And, because they only emit water-based vapor, they won’t leave a lingering scent like regular smoke. However, there are traditionalists who very much prefer, enjoy, and insist on smokable flower, which has the full blend of natural terpenes, oils, and cannabinoids found from the original hemp plant.
Are CBD vapes bad for your health?
While there is no such thing as a “healthy” vape, we do our best to make sure that we offer only products from reputable brands with a track record of good manufacturing processes. None of the vapes we sell contain Vitamin E Acetate, which had been linked to negative health consequences in some individuals.
Do CBD vapes contain tobacco? No. SPENSRY only sells tobacco-free vaporizers with high dosage CBD and low or zero dosage THC. Our priority is to provide our customers with the best possible CBD vaporizers available, and we do our best to only source from reputable suppliers with some of the highest quality CBD vaporizers on the market.
Will CBD flower get me high?
The flower sold by SPENSRY is only sourced from low THC Hemp plants, not marijuana plants, with less than 0.3% THC. Since THC is the substance that makes you “high”, smoking hemp flower will have very similar effects to taking CBD oil or eating CBD edibles.
Many traditional marijuana smokers really enjoy CBD hemp flower, since it has a very similar flavor profile, and the CBD (which is also found in marijuana) can make hemp flower smokers feel relaxed and less stressed, similar to when they’ve had marijuana.
Does CBD vape oil show up on a drug test?
Products that contain only CBD isolate, such as some CBD Oils, should not show up on drug tests. However most smokable CBD, including both flower and vaporizers are made from full spectrum CBD, which contains trace amounts of THC. While the THC present in these products is very unlikely to get you “high”, it is possible that the THC could show up in a drug test, similar to the way that a person can test positive for opiates after eating a lot of poppy seeds.
If you are concerned about being drug tested, we would recommend that you not consume CBD products, since one can never be absolutely certain that a particular batch of product didn’t contain trace amounts of THC.
Should I buy a rechargeable CBD pen and cartridges or a disposable CBD vape pen?
That depends. Typically, rechargeable vapes and cartridges and/or vape liquids are best suited to those who are heavy vape users and already know what they like. Because they are rechargeable they are more cost effective and the refillable liquid or cartridges let you buy in bulk to keep costs down. However, many users prefer disposable vape pens instead, both for the convenience and the low upfront price. While a traditional vape setup can cost over $100 to get started, a disposable vape pen can go for less than $40. Also, disposable pens allow you to try multiple flavors and brands at a low price, so that you can find which products suit you best. And because they don’t need to include the bulky battery and recharge systems in the hardware, disposable vape pens are very discreet and easy to put in your pocket, purse, or backpack.
